levelpic helps people find and purchase photos. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information when people browse the site, create an account, upload content, or use photo search features.

This Privacy Policy should be read together with our Terms of Service.

Depending on how you use levelpic, we may collect:

• Account details such as name, email address, and encrypted credentials
• Uploaded photos, albums, galleries, and related metadata from photographers
• Shared-gallery upload details, including uploaded photos, contributor display names, and optional contributor email addresses
• Selfie images and related facial-matching inputs submitted when someone uses face search
• Purchase, billing, and transaction records required to complete orders
• Usage and device information needed for security, analytics, and debugging

levelpic uses facial-recognition workflows to help people locate their photos more quickly. When someone runs face search, the submitted selfie is uploaded to levelpic storage and processed against indexed gallery photos so matching can happen.

Search selfies are not published as part of a customer gallery or personal photo library, but they may remain in operational storage until levelpic's internal retention or cleanup workflows remove them. Photographer and shared-gallery uploads may also be indexed to support face-search features inside the product.

We use Microsoft Clarity, a behavioral analytics service from Microsoft Corporation, and Google Analytics, a web analytics service from Google LLC, to understand how visitors interact with our site. These tools provide aggregate usage patterns, and Clarity may also provide heatmaps and individual session recordings that we use to identify usability problems and improve the experience.

Across our site, these tools may record:

• Page views, referral source, mouse movement, clicks, scrolling, and tap patterns.
• Viewport size and general device and browser information.
• Page navigation patterns and time spent on each page.

We explicitly do not record:

• The contents of any form field — login credentials, payment card details, names, addresses, and any other input values are masked at the browser level and never transmitted to Clarity.
• Your name and your email address, everywhere they appear — including the account menu in the navigation bar.
• Your photos and the amounts you pay. Your account, notifications and settings pages, the checkout screens and your order confirmation are masked in full. So are the photo previews, prices and totals in your cart, the photos a face search matches to you, and the photos you have already bought.

Everything else on a page is recorded as it appears, including headings, buttons, error messages and the public galleries you browse. That is deliberate — it is what lets us see where a page confuses people. Masking is positional: a masked area still records that you clicked or scrolled there, only its contents are withheld.

If you reject the consent banner, or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) or Do Not Track signal, neither Clarity nor Google Analytics records anything — both signals are honored automatically.

On your first visit you will see a banner asking permission to enable analytics. You can accept or reject, and change your choice anytime in the "Your preferences" section below.

Microsoft Corporation and Google LLC act as our analytics processors. The data is used only for product improvement and is not sold or shared with third parties.

levelpic may rely on infrastructure, payment, email, storage, and analytics providers to operate the product. Those providers process data only as needed for their role in delivering the service.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to enforce our agreements, or to protect users, customers, or levelpic.

We retain information for as long as it is needed to provide the service, meet legal or accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

That includes retaining uploaded gallery content, contributor records, purchase histories, and operational face-search artifacts according to levelpic's business, security, and support needs.
